Bemas Crew Member Removing Overburden Materials To Create Clay Plug For Pit Reclamation
In pit reclamation, we remove overburden materials within the pit and reuse it to create a “clay plug” that seals the existing pit after a mining operation is complete. This allows the area to be used as a water storage site in the future.

Landfill Cell Construction

Bemas in Action Excavating, Stockpiling & Installing Clay Liners For Landfill Cell Construction
With the large scale nature of these projects, Bemas is well equipped to excavate, stockpile, and install clay liners for landfill cell construction. Additionally, we construct drainage layers and leachate drainage systems as required per project.
