After 30 years of working for his father at Ames Construction, Larry Ames set off on his own in 1995 to start Bemas Construction. Starting out with limited resources pushed Larry to take chances, learn new skills, and grow Bemas into a company that delivers the highest quality work and service. Over the years, we have built a team of hard-working people that understand the unique challenges of earthwork, our commitment to quality, and the importance of taking pride in their work.
Bemas consistently delivers for our partners by committing to and living out our values every day. We have built a reputation as one of the best earthmovers in town - and throughout the region, stretching across markets from residential mass excavation to transportation and stormwater control. Our Story
1984
In 1984, Larry Ames moved to Denver, CO to work for his father, and mentor, Dick Ames at Ames Construction.
2000
After completing several successful projects at Denver International Airport for Ames Construction, Larry decided to go out on his own. In 1995, Bemas Construction, Inc. was born.
